All of the above website resources are free. The most popular are Wordpress and Blogger but the others are becoming popular as well. Some are very easy to use and have guidance for beginners. Others require more understanding of how to use websites and require some manipulation to get the look that you want.    There is a saying that “Bloggers are for beginners who are learning how to drive while Wordpress are for those who like to tinker in their car and upgrade it.”

Not all free blog sites are created equally.  You will need to peruse the sites and find the one that fits your needs and expectations. www.ucoz.com is one upcoming website that allows you to design your website allowing your webpage to have a personal feel.  

 

There are some free blogging sites that require you to download their program. Some websites give you good support services whereas others to do not. If you are beginning your own blog, then stay within those where you can setup an account on line and work from there instead of downloading their program. The positive thing about downloading programs from blogging sites is that you can work on your blog/website and when you are ready you can connect on the internet and upload it.

All of the free website have some limitations on how much you can put on the site. You cannot load any amount of videos or pictures you desire.  So when setting your website be mindful of the limitations that a free website posts and you will not have problems.
